“Blinds were very dusty. Bathtub is dangerously slippery.”

“Ice machine broken, pop machine only would take quarters. Nobody at front desk to check in. The place definitely needs some tlc. First time & the last time we will ever stay there.”

“The facility is an old hotel whose rooms have been updated. They still have the creaky old floors, though there are rugs on them now. We choose to stay there knowing that, and because it was one block away from the Nauvoo Temple. The bed was great. We had to drive to another facility where we checked in and where the free breakfast was.”

“Nice people”

“One of the best stays I’ve ever had!”

“Can't check in”

“Amazing stay!”

“The room we had was spacious. Easy to get the cart in and out with our luggage. It was clean and well prepared. The hallways could’ve used some attention, but this did not detract from our stay. Be prepared, the elevators are at the end of the hallways not near the entrance or breakfast room. Breakfast was wonderful. The coffee was great and the potatoes and sausage were done just right it was a quiet semi rural environment on the edge of town, which made it very nice and peaceful. We stayed……

“Clean room, well-lit parking lot, helpful staff”

“Not many choices in Burlington, Iowa.”

“Right in the middle of a wonderful historic area, makes for a nice walk in the neighborhood. Home is beautiful.”

“Check in took a LONG time...15 plus minutes. We discovered after pulling the bedding down for the night that one side of the sheet had a huge hole. My husband got his foot caught in it. Even if we would have wanted to call the front desk...no phone. The shower had hair from other guests in it. How do you miss that much hair when cleaning???? Our room phone didn't work or even have a cord connected to it and we had an emergency and had to call for an ambulance. Thank goodness for cell phones! Due……

“Clean and reasonable rates for the room. Good breakfast but wished they offered the delicious biscuits and gravy every morning.”

“There was a small amount of something brown and possibly sticky on the wall/ceiling in the far corner of our room. Breakfast was “meh”. Eggs and sausage were barely warm and they don’t have cream cheese despite having bagels available. There are no “do not disturb” signs to hang on your door. Housekeeping randomly opened and closed our door without knocking or announcing themselves and didn’t apologize after. They also have a $20 early check in fee that they failed to mention when I had called……
